Al-Mustafa USA organized a fundraising dinner in Springfield, Virginia, to express solidarity with and provide assistance to the flood-affected people of Pakistan. The event was attended by a large number of people from the Muslim community, along with members of other faiths, showing unity and compassion in support of the victims.
During the evening, participants were given a detailed multimedia briefing on the relief activities carried out by Al-Mustafa Pakistan for the flood victims.
Al-Mustafa USA Director Muhammad Usman Khan Noori, while addressing the gathering, highlighted that millions of people had been affected by the devastating floods. He shared that Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust had launched immediate relief efforts across more than 200 locations in 27 districts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Muhammad Nisar Kallu, Director of Al-Mustafa Canada, performed the role of Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the event. He also gave a comprehensive presentation about Al-Mustafa’s worldwide humanitarian projects, emphasizing the organization’s service in more than 25 countries across the globe.
Other prominent speakers, including Amjad Nazir Bhatti and Chaudhry Munir Ahmed, also shared their thoughts and expressed solidarity with the victims.
The event also featured a spiritually uplifting Mehfil-e-Naat, in which renowned Naat Khawans such as Al-Haj Noor Ahmad Jaral and Rana Asghar Sultani, along with others, recited Naats. Distinguished religious scholars graced the occasion with their presence, adding to the spiritual environment of the gathering.
At the conclusion of the event, generous donations were collected to support the ongoing relief efforts for the flood victims in Pakistan.
