Mark Ward, Global Advisor for the Zakat Foundation of America and former senior U.S. diplomat visited Al Mustafa Pakistan Headquarters

Al Mustafa Pakistan Headquarters in Lahore was honoured today by the visit of Mr. Mark Ward, Global Advisor for the Zakat Foundation of America and former senior U.S. diplomat.
During his visit, Mr. Ward held a detailed meeting with Chairman Al Mustafa Welfare Trust, Mr. Abdul Razzaq Sajid, and Managing Director Al Mustafa Pakistan, Ms. Nusrat Saleem, where he was briefed on the organisation’s nationwide humanitarian initiatives and its long-standing commitment to serving vulnerable communities.
Accompanied by the Country Director of the Zakat Foundation of America, Dr. Fazal ur Rehman, he then toured the Al Mustafa Eye Hospital, observing firsthand the hospital’s efficient and transparent process of providing free, sight-restoring eye surgeries to deserving patients.
Deeply moved by the impact, scale, and sincerity of the work, Mr. Ward expressed profound appreciation for Al Mustafa Pakistan, praising their compassion-driven approach and unwavering dedication to humanitarian service.
Zakat Foundation is a partner of Al Mustafa in flood-relief projects.

He was accompanied by Chairman Al Mustafa Welfare Trust, Mr. Abdul Razzaq Sajid, Country Director Zakat Foundation of America, Mr. Fazal ur Rehman, In-charge Dastarkhuwan, Mr. Akbar Chaudhary, Head of PR & Publications, Mr. Nawaz Kharal, and Operations Manager, Mr. Syed Farrukh Zafar.
During the visit, Mr. Ward joined the kitchen team and personally served food to beneficiaries, engaging warmly with the individuals who benefit from the Dastarkhuwan’s daily support.
He also appreciated the role of the Community Food Distribution Network, which is playing a vital part in ensuring food security for vulnerable families across the Lahore.
Deeply moved by the experience, Mr. Ward commended Al Mustafa Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to serving communities with dignity, compassion, and care.
