Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK, Moazzam Ahmad Khan interacted with the Chevening Scholars from Pakistan and representatives of Pakistan Societies (PakSocs) currently studying at various universities across the United Kingdom. The reception took place at the Pakistan High Commission, London on 5 July 2023.
The event, held as part of the Mission’s ongoing commitment to engage with the Pakistan origin student community and young professionals in the UK, served as a platform for a useful discussion on the scholars’ educational journeys and their experiences in the UK. The High Commissioner commended the scholars for their exceptional achievements and contributions in their respective fields.
The High Commissioner invited the students to join the ‘British Pakistan Student Portal’, a dynamic platform run by the High Commission that aims to foster networking and forge connections among Pakistani students and professionals.
The attendees were given a presentation on the key features of the ‘British Pakistan Student Portal’ including opportunities it offers to collaborate, share knowledge, and engage in constructive dialogues. It serves as a virtual hub where students can find valuable resources, seek guidance, and establish connections with their peers, mentors, and industry experts.
